"I've been so happy with my care"

I was admitted for a right mastectomy, axillary clearance and immediate DIEP reconstruction. This meant I was on the ward for several days. This review is about the nurses, cleaners, phlebotomists, pain teams, physio teams and everyone else on the ward. The team who looked after me were brilliant. The hospital was constantly cleaned, my sheets were regularly changed, I was treated with sensitivity and care. Every day they offered me a wash because I couldn't move. The hospital food was excellent, home cooked, tasty, served hot, plenty of options and delivered with a smile. It's a busy ward but they noticed things...when I got up and had a walk, the physio team noted it from a distance and my breast nurse was informed. I've been so happy with my care.
