I am a woman in my 60s having a difficult time with anxiety, depression and gallstones, so in pain and on medication for pain. I have visited the a and e department many times and have always been treated exceptionally well by all the staff; receptionists, triage, urgent treatment centre doctors, and all the other staff, also the staff in the mental health department. I would just like to thank them all for their patience and understanding and helping me through all this pain and discomfort.
I have been through mental crisis and DORS are helping me now. I had a short stay in the Haven. I have a better understanding of how to manage the pain and have better contact with my gp, who offered an appointment for this month. I hope to hear soon for the op on my gallstones because they are too big to pass. I am being looked after by cardio and urology after many urine infections. Hoping to manage a lot better now and have a better understanding of my medication.
I think you are very hardworking and deserve better recognition in all the jobs you do. Everybody has been very helpful and I expect sick of the sight of me.
"Everybody has been very helpful"
