About: Sidwell Street Clinic / Exeter Sexual Health

(as the patient),

Some questions to answer, blood taken, self swab given, a really quick and easy process.

I was extremely nervous beforehand and felt really stupid and annoyed with myself that I'd had unprotected sex, with a ons!

The two nurses I saw, Marlon and Clarice were the nicest, most loveliest people ever, and are a credit to the clinic. They were understanding, reassuring, and completely non judgemental. It was such a positive experience, so thank you to them both.

I answer phone calls from patients, book their appointments, find answers to their questions through liaising with clinicians, welcome patients and help where necessary. Plus admin duties.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts about your recent appointment with us here at Exeter Sexual Health. We do strive to make our patients feel as comfortable and cared for while understanding the sensitive nature of what we do.

We do pursue a patient centred service here at Devon Sexual Heath which is why it's so rewarding to hear you had such a positive experience. We do understand that people can feel a sense of embarrassment but overcoming this is a real strength and as you've witnessed we are totally non-judgmental.
