"Urology service"

About: Sunderland Royal Hospital / Urology

(as the patient),

Utterly chaotic service.

Constantly patients are reminded by poster and text or missed appointments. Communication by this department was woeful.

Lost treatment missed telephone appointments cancelled no explanation, staying in all day to wait for a phone call that never came! New tel appointment, missed call, message of sorts left with no name or contact details.

I rang hospital, no idea who rang or why, even though appointment by phone had been made. No wonder the NHS is in such a state when they can’t even do the very very basic things right! I wonder if I sent them a bill for my missed work day costs if it would improve!
