I recently had my second daughter & really wanted to give breastfeeding a go this time round.
The support I received in ninewells hospital was great, with the midwife’s helping me to hand express etc.
Once I got home, Kimberly from the breast feeding support team was in touch and she came out for many visits as I was struggling to get my daughter to latch without a nipple shield & her weight gain was also an issue.
After many weeks & many phone calls from Kimberly I managed to get my daughter latching & feeding perfectly. I couldn’t have done this without her help, I definitely would have given up, not long after getting home.
