"Bad treatment"

About: The Ulster Hospital / Gynae Assessment Unit

(as the patient),

I was called by a doctor and asked to attend an appointment in GAU for 9:30am and was still not seen by 12:45. I’m very disappointed as it was supposed to be a quick appointment and I had to leave my baby with a childminder. I left the clinic without seeing a doctor as I couldn’t wait any longer with having two small children to pick up. Now I’m unsure if I will get another appointment and this is very frustrating for me as my section scar is open and causing me a lot of pain

Dear Barr96,

I am so sorry to hear of your experience.

This should not have happened and I can only apologise for this.

Please contact us if you need another appointment made.

If you wish for me to look into what happened, please email me on louisa.mckibbin@setrust.hscni.net as I would not like this to happen to others.

Take Care,

Louisa
