I received my appointment for both flu and covid vaccines for Fernhill Community Centre. I am in 18-74 group and immunosuppressed.
My husband (75+) also received an appointment at Fernhill Community Centre but on a different day. I logged in to the online booking portal to change my appointment to approximately the same time as his (as that suits my immunotherapy medication better). It seemed to suggest that I cancel my original appointment prior to rescheduling.
When I tried to reschedule Fernhill was not mentioned in drop down list. I phoned the 0800 number and although call handler was friendly they couldn't add me as they didn't have Fernhill in their menu either. Strangely, although I had cancelled my original appointment only 20 minutes before they couldn't reinstate it so now I am appointment less.
No wonder the vaccination system is failing
