"Staff that don't respect your illness"

I experience a condition known as misophonia, which causes me to have severe mental health reactions to certain sounds. Unfortunately, during my interactions with Kingswood Surgery staff and doctors repeatedly made unusual and triggering noises over the phone, despite my attempts to explain how this affects me. I felt that my concerns were not taken seriously, and the lack of understanding around my condition made it impossible for me to continue receiving care there.

I’m hoping to find a more supportive and respectful environment here, where my needs can be acknowledged and accommodated. I’d be grateful if this could be noted in my records so that future communication can be handled in a way that avoids triggering sounds.
