My mum was admitted to ward 33 in August. She had her leg abscess surgically drained and continued antibiotics. The ward 33 staff provided excellent care throughout this time. Nursing staff, in particular Danielle and Sammi, were caring, attentive, friendly and hardworking.
Mr Khan was attentive from the moment of admission, from securing a bed to ensuring timely surgical management and supportive care throughout. He listened to concerns and did not rush review.
A further significant thank you to the registrar Andrew, who went above and beyond, treating my mum like his own. He truly listened and genuinely cared. This was reflected in his empathetic and supportive bedside manner, regular reviews, explanations, and management plans. His diligence, hard work, and dedication to patients is a true testament to the NHS and what healthcare truly means.
Despite my mums’ multiple encounters with healthcare individuals, the quality of care provided by Andrew is something we hope to never forget and this truly has had a lasting impact on my mum and family.
"Caring, attentive, friendly and hardworking"
