"Thornhills Medical Practice - a great service"

I booked a face to face GP appointment online. I was due to have the appointment at 10:50am. At 7:55am, the GP receptionist called me to apologise that the GP was poorly at home, but that she would be doing telephone calls instead. The receptionist asked if that was ok with me, which it was, so I thanked her and waited.

Just before 11am, a poorly sounding GP called me, immediately apologised for not seeing me in person and then carried out a comprehensive 10 minute consultation over the phone. I couldn't be more impressed. I have been a patient at this GP practice for 15 years and I have needed to use their services more often over the last 5 years.

I have always had a really positive experience - the reception team are polite and friendly, each GP has been very helpful - especially the lovely GP that I spoke to today (who I have seen quite a few times), and the nurses are great. I just wanted to praise them as they deserve some great feedback. Thank you.
