"Lanarkshire MSK Physiotherapy"

About: Adult Health & Support Services / Physiotherapy

(as a service user),

I've tried calling the MSK appointments line on 4 occasions to re-arrange an appointment. On each occasion, I'm on hold for between 40 minutes and an hour. When I eventually reach first in the queue, the call gets forwarded to another number...only to then hear that no-one is available to take my call.

This occurs morning, and afternoon, across different days. It feels like a strategy to avoid giving appointments.

How can an appointment ever be rearranged?!

Dear Patient1897,

Thank you for getting in touch, and I am very sorry to hear about the difficulties you’ve experienced trying to re-arrange your MSK appointment. I completely understand how frustrating and time-consuming this must have been, and I appreciate your patience.

We have had a number of staff absences in our Booking Hub in recent weeks, which has unfortunately impacted our phone service. I want to reassure you that we are working hard to resolve this and reduce wait times.

In the meantime, if you are happy to email me directly at alison.peters@lanarkshire.scot.nhs.uk with your information, I will help resolve your appointment issue as quickly as possible.

Thank you again for raising this, and I hope we can get things sorted for you without further delay.

Kindest Regards

Alison
