"Poor care"

About: Heathfield Suite / Gynaecology

(as a parent/guardian),

My daughter attended an outpatient gynaecology appointment at The Ayr Hospital.

She has been suffering chronic pain for many years. The consultant she saw was rude, sarcastic and dismissive. This conduct added significantly to her mental anguish. It was unprofessional and unacceptable.  The Hospital medical management may find it helpful to speak with other staff who were in attendance for confirmation.

I would wholeheartedly advise anyone referred here to if possible take an advocate with them for support.

My daughter has informed her GP and is requesting a second opinion.

After waiting well over a year for this appointment I can only describe the lack of care and respect as abysmal.
