About: Western General Hospital / Emergency Surgical Admissions

(as a service user),

Admitted with a internal burst abscess. Was in the worst pain I'd ever experienced in my life and was admitted for care by this team.

All aspects of care were absolutely exemplary. Everyone I came into contact with treated me with genuine care and support & made me feel heard and looked after.

Within less than 24 hours my condition was vastly improved by an expert team and I was discharged feeling like my life was back on track.
