"Insomnia and life change"

About: Inclusion Thurrock (Talking Therapies)

(as a service user),

A massive change happened in my life which completely knocked my confidence in work and the ability to look after my family, all based on zero evidence, this turned into a very dangerous period of chronic insomnia.

The above brought about things I thought I dealt with but wasn't the case.

I went from a happy go lucky person for 42 years, to someone on several medications to get myself back on track.

The surgery booked me in to Inclusion, this was absolute gold on a dinner plate, I was nervous on the first session but Hasnain made the whole thing amazing including all the CBT information, after the first 2 sessions I began to look forward to each weeks meeting. I am gutted the sessions came to end, however I am 90 percent back to normal now after talking with Hasnain.

Dear WizardsKeeper,

Thank you for taking the time to share about your experience with Inclusion Thurrock talking therapies. We are honoured to have been a part of your healing process.

I am pleased to know that you listened to your GP surgery and decided to give it a go to therapy.

It is powerful to hear how the sessions helped you reconnect with yourself. The way you describe them “gold on a dinner plate” shows just how impactful they were. It is amazing that despite the initial nerves, you found the space to heal and even look forward to each meeting. That speaks a lot about your strength and the quality of support you received from Hasnain.

Being 90 percent back to normal is a huge milestone, and I hope you are proud of how far you have come. Recovery it is not linear, but your story is a reminder that with the right help and persistence, things can get better.

I will certainly share your kind words with Hasnain as I am sure he will appreciate it.

We hope that you feedback will encourage others facing similar difficulties to seek help.

Kind regards,

Ann
