"My wife's treatment"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Combined Assessment Unit (CAU) Crosshouse Hospital / General Surgery Crosshouse Hospital / High Dependency Unit Crosshouse Hospital / Intensive Care Unit

(as a relative),

My wife was admitted to the Combined assessment unit and from there to ward 4B Crosshouse Hospital where she ended up dying from Hospital-acquired covid, pneumonia and sepsis.

The ward was dirty, with rubbish lying on the floor for days, I found the staff  lazy & unhelpful, apart from 2 Bank nurses and 1 student nurse, staff were constantly playing with their phones and ignoring patients needs

The HDU & ICU staff were superb, nothing was too much trouble or inconvenience.

I lost my wife to an illness given to her in ward 4B Crosshouse Hospital.

I found her treatment to be an absolute disgrace.
