"Poor service"

About: Chesterfield Royal Hospital / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

My appointment was at 2:30pm, I know that parking at hospitals can be very difficult so I made sure I was 30 minutes early to make sure I could find a spot to park, it took me the whole 30 minutes just to find one parking space! At this point it was the exact time of my appointment so I quickly made my way up to the department I was supposed to be in.

I was 10 minutes late so I wasn’t expecting to be seen right away, however I didn’t expect it to be an hour and a half later and still not even been called in. I asked when I was going to be seen, to be told I was next.

We waited, only for a further 2 other ladies to be called in instead! Not only is this poor service, but it’s ignorant. Why is it that I’m being penalised for something that isn’t controllable?

The hospital won’t add more parking as it’s too expensive, however there is only 3 places patients can park, the rest is for staff!
