"The staff were amazing"

The staff in Crichton unit were amazing, the ward seemed to run like well oiled machine, I felt like me and my son were seen, heard and respected, all of my questions were answered by all of the staff who came across as knowledgeable and very competent. Special thanks to Priscilla for excellent person centered and individualised care given to my son and myself as a parent. Thank you to Dr Dass for taking special care with my son, for giving us clear and detailed answers and explanations regarding my sons care and what to expect during recovery. To Dr Morrison who checked in on us and made my son feel comfortable. 

Our play specialist was amazing, her strategies to keep the children calm was so impressive and it was a huge weight lifted not having to see him distressed, that means the absolute world. 

Every single member off staff went beyond expectations, im so sorry to those whose names I didn't catch, I do remember every one of you and the care you showed us and I will never forget it. For you guys it may be just another working day but for us it was one of our worst days, it was a day we will never forget and because of you all being so amazing it is a day we will remember for the love and compassion people gave us when we were most vulnerable. 

My thanks can also be extended to the staff at the children's A&E and the consultant we met Dr Ahmed who were also fantastic when we came in.
