"Daughter's fractured arm"

About: Royal Hospital for Children (Glasgow) / Accident & Emergency Royal Hospital for Children (Glasgow) / Orthopaedics (Ward 3C) Royal Hospital for Children (Glasgow) / Theatres, recovery and Anesthetics

(as a parent/guardian),

My daughter fractured her arm at her cheerleading class. It was a bad break that needed surgery. From the A&E staff, to ward 3C, the theatre staff and medical staff she and I were well looked after in every way. Communication was great and the care and attention was fantastic

Dear pilingsrp58

Thank you so much for sharing your experience following your daughter’s injury — we’re so sorry to hear she suffered such a painful fracture, but we’re very glad to know she received the care and support she needed at such a stressful time.

From A&E to ward 3C, and through to surgery, it’s fantastic to hear that our staff provided clear communication, compassion, and excellent care every step of the way. Your kind words will mean so much to the teams involved — we’ll be sure to pass them on.

Wishing your daughter a smooth and speedy recovery — and we hope she’s back to doing what she loves again soon.

Kind regards

Kevin
