"Helped me understand what I am experiencing"

About: Countywide Community Care Service Delivery Unit / Post Viral Fatigue Service

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

Being apart of the PVFS I never thought this would be something that I would experience or be apart of. I and others am amongst the actual care that we have needed whether that be for a milestone from just being able to be apart of the group and an achievement of how myself have got to the group as it not easy.

To all the practitioners that have sat and listened, to all the staff who I’ve spoken to at the services have given me a little hope, I always felt as though the care given and understanding and support was always non judgemental, all members of staff that have communicated with me in some shape or form have been professional at all times and I have felt calm and not afraid to be able to speak how I am truly feeling.

To be able to understand and gain the correct feedback, the advice, guidance and practices put into place I have gained from the services and very grateful that I got to experience the groups they have helped me understand what I am experiencing on a different level and made me aware that feeling a certain way can be communicated and the help is there. I'm not alone!

A response is always given and I'm able to keep the information that l have been given to refer back to. I am able to reach out and use the services if needed. I didn’t know that a group would even exist. Even though I still have so many unanswered questions and live through the pain I am always grateful
