"My husband's care"

About: Musgrove Park Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as a relative),

I recently attended a very busy A&E, as a cat bite that my husband had suffered on his hand the night before was beginning to cause problems.

His treatment was swift, thorough and caring. He had an x ray, tetanus jab, IV antibiotics, and left hospital with a sling, course of antibiotics and strict instructions to return if anything worsened.

I would like to thank Nurse Practitioner, Jonny, for diligently overseeing my husband's care, and Naomi for her patience and good humour in dealing with such a nervous patient! Thank you both. (He's doing well.)

I feel very lucky to have such an excellent A&E Department on our doorstep and grateful for our NHS.

Thank you so much for writing such lovely words. I hope your husband is on the mend. I will be sure to share this with Jonny
