I had the most amazing birth experience at home delivering my second child.
I cannot speak higher of the team of midwives there to assist me.
I decided to have a home birth late in pregnancy (36 weeks) and Nicola and the team were so accommodating and had everything sorted within a week to go on call for me from 37 weeks. Nicola reassured me along the way when I needed to meet with the consultant midwife before going ahead with the home birth.
It was a long labour however the team were calm and patient with me and allowed me to lead the way in how I wanted things to go. These women are angels! It was such an empowering experience and I would do it all again in a heartbeat!
My after birth experience was also fantastic with amazing support from the Holywood Arches midwives and the Ards midwives.
I would highly recommend any and all expectant parents to consider a home birth.
