"Keep up the great work!"

About: Lurgan Hospital / Ward 3

(as a relative),

My Nan was discharged from ward 3 last week after a period of rehab to get her back on her feet again. She received the most excellent care and we couldn’t find the staff enough.

From the ward manager Patsy Ann and her amazing nurses and healthcare care assistants, to Amy and Eileen from Physio, Katrina from OT and Maxine in social work. As a family, we are forever grateful for the dedication and compassion that they showed her. Each one treating her like their own family member.

A special mention to the wonderful work that they are doing with running their lunch club and activity morning every week despite how busy they are. My Nan is a very social person and so it benefited her greatly to have the opportunity interact with other patients and staff. It greatly improved her mood when was feeling low and missing home.

Keep up the great work!!!

Thank you feedback on the care and rehabilitation received by your Nan whilst she was on ward 3. I am delighted to hear that she especially benefited from and enjoyed the lunch club and activity mornings that run on the ward, these are integral to the ongoing rehabilitation provided by the multi-disciplinary team on the ward.

I will be sure to inform the team, specifically those staff that you mentioned.

We really value your feedback and wish your Nan all the best with her ongoing recovery.
