I have been trying to contact tissue viability for 4-6 weeks. By the time my MP managed to contact Tissue Viability on my behalf as the District Nursing team refused to give me the contact detail despite trying to get the district nurses to give it me on multiple occasions, I was in desperate pain, injured and emotionally broken by the time the service made contact with me the same morning the MP contacted her.
Since then they have worked closely with me to ensure they found me the right mattress and although we had to try a several which were unsuccessful. They have managed to find me the perfect mattress of which I am most grateful for and cannot thank them enough.
