"Outstanding advice and help"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - City Campus / Cardiology Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus / Cardiology Specialist Therapy Services / Nottingham West Heart Failure Team

(as the patient),

Despite the incredible support for over a year, I had 4 cardiac Arrests whilst playing tennis!

Saved by 2 club mates (retired doctors) with CPR and 4 broken ribs! Kept me alive until medical teams arrived. Admitted to QMC and then to City Hospital for defibrillator and pace maker during 10 days in hospital and continued support from the heart failure team means I have recovered well! Now discharged by heart failure team as all signs are positive!

I am immensely grateful for the high level care I have received from Shelley - the advice, support and medical expertise given and the opportunity to share my medical experiences in a positive caring environment!
