"Staff were kind, friendly and compassionate"

I was recently admitted to the Trauma Assessment Unit for a procedure which was booked as a day case.  Unfortunately I had to be admitted.  I arrived in the Unit at 9am and was greeted by two welcoming members of staff.  I was prepared for my procedure and taken to the theatre at approximately 10.00hrs.  On my return to the unit I was told that I needed to remain in hospital until results of the procedure were to hand.  I was eventually admitted to Shuttleworth ward at 5.45pm

Throughout my stay in the unit my care was exemplary, the staff were at all times kind, friendly and compassionate.
