Attended Altnagelvin minor injuries unit recently for a fractured fibula. The initial triage nurse Claire who called me back via the Phone First service was extremely helpful and got me slotted into the last appointment at the unit that day.
When I arrived, I was triaged, xrayed, treated and discharged within a decent timeframe. I want to say a massive thank you to the team in the dept and a special thank you in particular to the Nurse Practitioner Geraldine and the Staff Nurse Hannah who were absolutely fantastic, extremely helpful, civil and provided excellent care especially considering i was the last person they seen that day within the unit, probably after a long shift.
Big thanks again to you both!
