About: Raigmore Hospital / Radiology

(as the patient),

Attended Raigmore Hospital in September for brain scan. 80-mile car journey each way. The radiologist hadn’t been told that I had a pacemaker fitted and was horrified. 

I had psyched myself up for appointment and don’t know what happens next.

I am very sorry to hear about your recent experience. This is not what we wish for our patients.

If you are able to contact myself directly, I can look into this for:

After each scan, we send a report back to the referrer. If the scan was not able to be completed, we also let the referrer know. I'm sure they are in the process of contacting you. But I can certainly look into this for you.
