I struggled with my mental health in my pregnancy due to a difficult birth in a previous pregnancy. I was referred to the mental health team. I saw Dr Stephens at Lance Burn and at St Mary's and thought she was wonderful. She was really caring and kind and made me feel really supported.
She took the time to discuss my options for birth with me and I felt like she really listened to me and really had my best interests in mind.
I delivered my baby at Wythenshawe hospital instead, as in the end I felt I needed to go to a different hospital to my first birth. But Im so glad Dr Stephens was involved in my antenatal care, as she really helped me during a difficult time. She's a great Doctor.
