"It was a brilliant experience"

About: Omagh Primary Care Complex / Radiology Omagh Primary Care Complex / Urgent Care and Treatment Centre

(as a relative),

My Dad was hit by a car in May and hurt his arm quite significantly. After being told there was a 12 hour wait in other A&E we decided to take him the hours drive to Omagh Urgent care. It was a brilliant experience. As a nurse myself I know the pressures we all face but from start to finish they were exceptional.

He was triaged by Beth who was kind, empathetic and really knowledgeable. We were then looked after by Colm, an ANP in the minor injuries unit who was fantastic. We can't thank him enough. He was so good with Dad and knew his stuff.

We were there for a total of 7 hours but in that time had 3 X-rays, his arm was casted and he also had a CT angio as Colm was worried about the circulation to the broken arm. We left with an appointment to attend Ward 25 later that night for Dad to have surgery on his arm. Colm and Beth arranged all of this and we are forever grateful to them.

There was other staff too who where brilliant, I just didn't catch there names. Credit where it is due to this fantastic service. Thank you Colm for being everything.
