"Their professionalism and support has been invaluable"

About: Forth Valley Community Services / Long Covid Service

(as a service user),

I was referred to the long covid clinic last summer and had my first appointment, with Physiotherapist Kirsten, in November. This year I have also seen the clinic Psychologist, Nicola.

Both of them have been a tremendous support to me in coming to terms with and learning how to manage my long covid. Their professionalism and support has been invaluable to me in helping me to cope and to make progress with my physical and emotional recovery.

I honestly can't sing their praises enough. They have each helped me to see my condition in a new, more positive light and I have picked up so many useful tips, pieces of advice and coping mechanisms.

Please don't let this amazing service close down, ever!! Long covid is with us to stay and so many people are affected by it. I don't know what I would have done without Kirsten and Nicola - I wouldn't be coping nearly as well as I am, that's for sure!

They both deserve a medal!!!
