"I felt the care was way beyond my expectations"

About: Causeway Hospital / Accident & Emergency Causeway Hospital / Causeway Surgical Ambulatory Unit (CSAU)

(as the patient),

Visited a&e with abdominal pain suspecting a Diverticulitis flare up. Traiged promptly and seen by a really competent Doc Brit. Explained my condition with compassion, took time to allay my fears and referred me to the appropriate department for investigation.

Surgeon from CSAU came and spoke to me, think his name was Mo....again mannerly, took time to explain what may be happening and assured me I would be seen promptly for investigation. Called me the following morning after speaking to his colleagues and assured me I would get all the help available.

I returned this morning when a lovely Dr Motandi explained what course if action they will be taken should the outcome be A or B. Both nurses reassuring and friendly. Honestly I felt the care was way beyond my expectations from all the staff I encountered. I came away today with uncertainty as to what is actually wrong with me but with the certainty that everything that can be done will be done.

I feel the service I have received as past few days, could not have been better.
