"I didn’t even feel the Cannula"

About: Ninewells Hospital / Pre-Assessment Clinic

(as a service user),

I was met by a Nurse co-ordinator her name was Natalie, I was made very welcome and was very relaxed during my visit.

Natalie explained everything to me in words I could understand what she was on about. If I didn’t quite understand she would explain it again which I found that very helpful. Everything was explained in great detail. Natalie is very good at her job as far as I am concerned, very Knowledgeable and made me feel at ease. I wasn’t nervous at all .

Then I met another nurse, Ashley was her name, she took blood samples from me. I didn’t even feel the Cannula being put in my arm and it was done very professionally and when I was done she wished me good luck with my operation when it happens.

It was a great experience at Ninewells Hospital Well done ladies.
