"A&E attendance"

About: Galloway Community Hospital / Accident & Emergency Galloway Community Hospital / Imaging (Radiology) Galloway Community Hospital / Trauma & orthopaedics

(as a relative),

I brought my husband to A&E GCH after he injured his thumb with a hammer. He was seen promptly, assessed, X-rayed with wound dressed and discharged with medication within an hour.

We were initially told there may be a bit of a wait due to it being busy which was absolutely fine. But we were pleasantly surprised that he got seen so quickly. Nurse was lovely and we both commented on how impressed we were with the service we got. I just wanted to give feedback to say thank you.

A referral was made to orthopaedics and he received a phone call within a couple of days. So great service all round. Thank you

Good morning Ccmcc,

Thank you for taking the time to share such positive feedback. I was so pleased to hear that our staff were able to see, assess and treat your husband promptly, and that a referral made to Orthopaedics for future support.

I will be sure to pass on your kind and appreciative words to the team involved in your husband's care.

Many thanks

Kind regards

Sara
