Shoulder replacement, emergency after a fall, replacement by a staff member who never saw me ,not before, not in hospital, not after, seemed they could not be bothered.

I take patient feedback and work with all departments at Royal Devon University Hospital NHS Trust to implement service change and improve the patient experience.

Dear Skip123*

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback and I am sorry to hear about the difficulties you have been experiencing with your shoulder.

I am unable to tell from your feedback which ward or service your feedback relates to. Would it be possible for you to update on the department that you visited so that I can ensure that your comments are directed to the right team.

If you are still experiencing issues with your shoulder and you have already been discharged, please contact your GP in the first instance for a referral to the most appropriate service.

Consultant from RD&E never saw me before my operation, never came to see me after, I was in hospital 3 weeks, never came to see me, appt after were with staff, never had the courtesy to introduce themselves or ask how I was doing. Feel utterly let down.
