"Thank you to this very special person"

A year ago, I went through something very traumatic, I was forced into an abortion by my parents at 5 months pregnant, which was incredibly unsafe. I’ve already thanked the gynae team here for saving my life during that emergency, but now I want to thank one person in particular: Lorna.

Lorna, you didn’t just treat me medically, you made sure I was safe. Lorna raised safeguarding flags for my case and made sure the right things were put in place to protect me even after leaving the hospital. She was so kind and practical, even offering for my boyfriend to stay with me while I recovered and arranging for my medication to be sent to me at home by taxi.

Because of Lorna, I wasn't just left to cope on my own, I felt supported and cared for in a situation that could have been so much harder. 

Please can someone pass this message on to Lorna—I don’t want to share every detail publicly, but let her know that what she did has made a massive difference to my future, my life is so much easier and safer today. Lorna you star!
