"Provide a brilliant service"

I want to thank the wonderful team at the Allergy Clinic on Ward 34. They provided a brilliant service recently and they were so kind and reassuring. Living with severe allergies is difficult and I often feel very anxious. I underwent a penicillin challenge.

The team explained what would happen at each stage to ensure the process was as straightforward as possible. I left the clinic with the knowledge that I am not allergic to penicillin. Before I had even put my coat on to leave, My Chart had been updated and the Consultant had written to my GP to inform them to update and remove the penicillin allergy from my record. Every member of the team deserves thanks. We are very lucky to have our NHS.
