As I have a complex case I can only see my own doctor, I arrived for my appointment to be told by the member of staff on reception that the doctor was off sick. I explained I had been waiting for 2 months for this appointment, to be told the doctor can't help being ill. I said I understand that but I'm ill too, and asked when I could be seen, to be told not until the end of October. I asked if they were joking and they asked me if they looked like they were joking. This comment took me aback, there was no sympathy or remorse, I told them I didn't like their attitude and went to the nurses station for my next appointment in tears.
I have been with Litchdon for 35 years and I am supposed to be a priority patient due to my health, I get told when I do see my doctor that they haven't seen me for a while, well perhaps this will explain why.
I had blood tests done with concerning results and only know this from reading My Care, I have received no message to explain these results to me, which then elevates my anxiety and stress levels which then make my asthma symptoms increase so I can truthfully say to Litchdon Medical Centre, I believe you're making my health decline rather than improve. I will be seeking help from another GP surgery as I have lost faith in yours.
