"Incredibly kind, attentive and just lovely to talk to"

A special thank you to Rebecca on the Day Surgery Ward at QMH. I was admitted for a small surgical procedure, and from start to finish, Rebecca was incredibly kind, attentive and just lovely to talk to.

Very reassuring. 

Another special mention to Miriam, and the other 2 nurses in the anaesthetic room, who really looked after me when I suddenly became very overwhelmed and emotional. So lovely and gentle with me. I just soo appreciated your kindness and it meant a lot.

And finally to Mark in the recovery room. I woke up, not even knowing what I was talking about! 😂 However he entertained my conversation, was just so so nice and to top it off, gave me the cosiest blanket before going back to the ward. What seems like a small gesture, was actually really comforting. 

Thank you all so much. Although my surgery was minor, the care and protection I was given by you all, is soo appreciated and won’t be forgotten.
