(as the patient),

I think the ongoing issue with parking at Ninewells Hospital Dundee is beyond a joke. No mater what time of day you arrive or what car park you try to get in to, the wait time to get parked can be anything up to an hour.

This has an impact on the patient or visitor and of course the hospital timetable.

NHS Tayside welcomes your feedback and would like to thank you for taking the time to reach out and share your recent experience of parking whilst attending our Ninewells Campus.

NHS Tayside provides free parking with over 2500 spaces on our Ninewells Hospital site, however we recognise that parking continues to be in high demand, particularly at peak times, which is reflective of most acute sites in Scotland.

In recognition of the parking demands currently being experienced across the Ninewells Campus, a Car Park Review is currently underway with a series of workshops being undertaken, in partnership with a wide range of key stakeholders which includes patient representatives, with the objective of reviewing the alignment of our car parks to support improved access for all.

I hope that this provides you with some reassurance that NHS Tayside continue to review parking challenges being experienced across the Ninewells Hospital Campus.
