"I feel listened to and included"

When I first attended Airbles Road Centre in Motherwell (CMHT) I was in my early 20s. I'm now in my late 30s. In the past 9 years I can't fault the care I've had but in the last 3 alone, things have come into focus and I feel listened to, heard, and included in my own treatment. I cannot fault the staff, they do amazing work, esp with at the minute, very limited resources, nurses and doctors. 

My Psychiatrist is the first doctor I've ever felt took and still takes me seriously and my opinion into account. The CPNs are fabulous and the receptionists have a tough job, but manage to keep things running and as calm, smooth and easy as possible for us patients. 

Thank you, all at Airbles (both the psychiatric team and the psychology team). My psychologist is brilliant and she feels safe. 

The entire staff have helped me at one stage or another throughout my journey, and although it hasn't been an easy one, they haven't given up on me! 

So grateful that I have the care, and access to the to the resources I do, because without them, I'd have given up and wouldn't be continuing my story! ;
