"Exceptional care for my mum and us as a family"

About: Victoria Hospital / Palliative Care and Hospice

(as a relative),

My mum passed in Kirkcaldy Victoria hospice. 

The care and attention was exceptional. From the moment we entered the hospice we were all treated with compassion and care. We are a large family and we will treasure the memory we were able to make at the hospice.

Jill looked after my mum and all of us with empathy and kindness. She said she felt it an honor to work there. She helped make a sad day very special. My family left with their memory bears as did my mum, the comfort this brought is immeasurable.

It’s heartening to hear that Jill and the hospice team were able to provide such comfort and empathy during such a difficult time. The memory bears and the special moments you were able to create together are a testament to the thoughtful and person-centred care our staff strive to provide every day.

I will ensure your feedback is shared with the team at the Hospice, especially with Jill. Your message will mean a great deal to them and will serve as a powerful reminder of the impact their work has on families.
