"Car parking at the hospital"

I was visiting my husband in ICU for the first time following a major cancer operation and was already stressed to the limit and as we  live in another town using public transport wasn't a viable option.

I had paid upfront for a weeks parking and got to to the hospital an hour early, but there was nowhere to park, even the staff seemed to be using the visitors car park as not enough parking for them.

I was told and had to park in a residential side street over half an hour's walk away. They desperately need a multi storey car park, people are going through enough without this extra stress, it's not good enough.
