"My grand child"

About: Fife Community Services / Children's Occupational Therapy

(as a parent/guardian),

I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the support we have received since our grandchild was placed in our care. After not being allowed to see our grandchildren for over four years, we are now caring for our six-year-old grandchild, who is non-verbal and has mobility issues.

Kinship Care provided me with the Children's Services advice number, and I was pleasantly surprised to be referred to Occupational Therapy (OT), Speech and Language Therapy, and Physiotherapy, especially since our grandchild had missed many previous appointments.

I would particularly like to commend Ashley from Occupational Therapy. She has been incredibly helpful, conducting necessary measurements, completing reports for housing, and quickly securing the aids we needed. She is truly a star.

Thank you again for these essential services.

Dear Nippy Sweety,

My name is Hilary and I am responding on behalf of the Speech & Language Therapy Service. Thank you for taking the time to give feedback on the Children's services advice line. Your feedback highlights exactly what the advice line was meant for - ease of access to the services a child or young person needs, when they need it.

I am really pleased that you managed to get the advice you needed to help support your grandchild. We really value the feedback that you have given us and I will ensure that it is passed on to the Speech & Language Therapy team.

Thank you

Hilary
