I have just spent 4 days in Wrightington hospital having a hip replacement carried out on me by a miss shaw and her brilliant team. From the moment I arrived I was well looked after by everybody that came into contact with me. Over the last 18 years I have undergone 8 orthopaedic operations at various hospitals in the north west, all stays in them were very good with no complaints. The care and treatment I received from all medical staff and just as important the civilian staff was took to a whole new level, it was brilliant, they could not do enough for me.
I am 75 years old and I was humbled by the respect that was given me and my fellow ward patients. On being discharged my dear wife brought into the ward 2 tins of chocolates as a very small thank you gift for doing an excellent job of looking after this old man. From the bottom of my heart thank you.
"You did an excellent job"
