I waited in the doctors for nearly an hour, for them to tell me that there was nothing wrong with my sample and I would have to repeat it. They had told me on the phone that I would have to come in to discuss the results, only to send me home to repeat it. They once again wasted an hour of my life with waiting times of over half an hour. Many people who came in after me were seen before me, which is just simply not fair. Doctors surgeries should be on time and not late, and they should give out genuine advice.
On top of this, I have also been to the hospital twice this month, for excruciating abdominal pain. I requested that I have a scan and they refused. They took my bloods and sent me home the first time, telling me I was constipated when I had in fact been going to the toilet more than usual. the second time they just sent me home with the instructions of taking painkillers, despite me saying that they don't help.
Overall, my experience with the NHS has never been good, and it doesn't encourage people to go to hospital/doctors, even if they are seriously ill. In my experience, the NHS needs to drastically improve.
