"End of life care"

About: The Ulster Hospital / Stroke Care (Ward 4D)

(as a relative),

My grandmother had a stroke and was a patient in 4D over Christmas last year. The care she received from the doctors and nurses was incredible, they were so attentive and kind, especially in her final days. I know she appreciated it all even though she was forever rolling her eyes at people.

I cannot express enough how much easier this hard situation was made by the lovely staff on the ward - including ensuring that she was able to come and spend Christmas day and boxing day with us at home - as it turned out to be her last and we are glad to have these memories.

So many thanks!
