"I was very grateful for you all!"

About: Victoria Hospital / Admissions Unit 2 (Emergency Surgical)

(as the patient),

I was referred to by my GP to have an abscess drained. From calling on the Monday afternoon & getting a very helpful lady who arranged for me to attend the following day at 8am, to the nurse, healthcare support worker & surgeons who treated me while in the unit & tried very hard to find a space to perform the procedure, I was very grateful for you all! I was in & out in 3.5 hours which was amazing especially when they are constantly so pushed for space. Spoke with the senior charge nurse on leaving & thanked her for such a great service, especially for something that used to be routinely done in the GP surgery & now it puts extra strain on hospitals. Hats off to you all smiling through each day & caring about the people who need to greatly while they are there.

Dear Shona4502

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such lovely feedback for the whole AU2 team.

It is great to hear your comments and that you had your procedure in a relatively quick time.

I will share with the team, they will all appreciate your kind comments.

I hope you are recovering well.

Best wishes

Lynsey
