(as the patient),

The consultant Mr Roberts was very kind and helpful and treated me with great courtesy and understanding.  He agreed that I would delay the treatment for now (which is what I had requested) and could have surgery in future if it became necessary.  This is just what I was hoping and I feel very relieved and felt my views had been taken into account. I would like to add that all the patient information leaflets I was sent prior to this consultation were very well written and helped me a great deal in deciding what to do.  In all a very good experience.  Thank you to everyone concerned.
