"Managing thoughts and Feelings with MS"

About: Integrated Care / Community / Community Neurorehabilitation Service / CNRS

(as the patient),

The ACT therapy helped me with techniques to manage thoughts and feelings as well has adopting a mindfulness approach. Although sceptical at first I have found this highly beneficial and I feel I’m more aware of the present and less worried about the future or what I’ve lost in the past. The sessions with others that are living with neurological illnesses has been really helpful and we have shared experiences which are more powerful from people dealing with the same things as me. I fully endorse this program and only wish it could have lasted a little longer

Good afternoon,

Thank you for taking the time to feedback about the support your received at the ACT therapy class facilitated by the Community Neurorehabilitation service. It was lovely to read about how much you gained from the support provided including being able to speak to others in a similar situation. This is always helpful for people so I am pleased to see this was available for you.

Your feedback has been shared with the service lead who I know always personally thanks the staff for their hard work. They will all appreciate hearing how cared for you felt by the team and that you would recommend to others.

I wish you well with your ongoing recovery.

Kind regards,

Aoife Isherwood
