"Nothing was a problem to her"

About: Royal Alexandra Hospital / Medical Assessment Unit (MAU)

(as the patient),

I was admitted to hospital for ongoing tests, I just want to thank one nurse in particular, Deborah MAU ward RAH Paisley. She was on night shifts and she made me feel at ease, she was respectful, kind caring compassionate and very on the ball, nothing was a problem to her.

This is an experience I will remember from the hospital. Be kind, treat people how you would like to be treated or your family member.

Thank you Deborah

Dear skywz54

Thank you for sharing your kind words following your recent stay at the Royal Alexandra Hospital. We're so pleased to hear that amidst the uncertainty of ongoing tests, you found comfort and reassurance in the care you received — especially from Deborah on the MAU ward.

Your description of her as respectful, kind, compassionate, and attentive truly captures the values we strive to uphold across all of our services. It’s clear she made a lasting impact on your experience, and we will ensure your thanks are passed on to her and her team. Recognition like this means the world to our staff.

Your reminder to "be kind, treat people how you would like to be treated or your family member" resonates deeply — it's at the heart of everything we aim to do.

Thank you again for taking the time to share your story. We wish you all the very best in your ongoing care and recovery.

Kind regards

Kevin
